      If you file a complaint with the recipient, you must wait until the recipient issues a written Notice of Final Action or until 90 days have passed (whichever is sooner) before filing a complaint with the CRC (see address above). If the recipient does not give you a written Notice of Final Action within 90 days of the day which you filed your complaint, you do not have to wait for the recipient to issue that Notice before filing a complaint with the CRC. However, you must file your CRC complaint within 30 days of the 90- day deadlines (in other words, within 120 days after the day on which you filed complaint with the recipient).

      If the recipient does give you a written Notice of Final Action on your complaint but you are dissatisfied with the decision or resolution, you may file a complaint with CRC.  You must file your CRC complaint within 300 days of the date on which you received the Notice of Final Action.

    • DRDWG Long Term Unemployed (LTU): Unemployed for 27 consecutive weeks or longer

       

      Quest LTU: Looking for a job, available to work, and falls under one of the following: 

      Have never been employed (i.e., no prior attachment to either an employer or self-employment);
      Have dropped out of the labor force, but desire to return (e.g., discouraged workers – who were not actively looking for work because they did not think they could find work; individuals who took time off to raise a child or care for another family member; individuals who took time off to further their education;
      Have regular or frequent spells of unemployment (i.e., seasonal or sporadic attachment to work);
      Are determined ineligible for WIOA Title I Dislocated Worker programs but unemployed for 13 or more weeks;
      Are under-employed (i.e., working part-time out of necessity but desirous of full-time work; working full-time but wages or working conditions are unsuitable);
      Are ex-offenders who are unemployed after incarceration;
      Are currently incarcerated offenders within one year of release;
      Are individuals who suffered an on-the-job injury, non-work-related injury or illness, were institutionalized, or were victims of a crime and have been out of work as a result; or
      Are active duty service members (or spouses) who face involuntary, other than dishonorable, discharge from the military

      Male’s age 18 to 25 that are required to register but have not, should be referred to: www.sss.gov to register.


      Male’s (26 +) that were required to register but didn’t, cannot receive WIOA services unless WorkForce Snohomish approves a waiver (includes male aliens who entered US before their 26th birthday but are applying for services after age 26.) (TEGL 8-98)

      Active duty military are not required to be registered; however, upon discharge males under 26 must register (regardless of the type of discharge received).

    • Eligible Spouse as defined in section 2(a) of JVA (38 U.S. C. 4215(a)) means the spouse of any of the following:


       Any veteran who died of a service-connected disability;

       Any member of the Armed Forces serving on active duty who, at the time of application for the priority, is listed in one or more of the following categories and has been so listed for a total of more than 90days:

       Missing inaction;

       captured in line of duty by a hostile force; or

       forcibly detained or interned in line of duty by a foreign government or power;

       Any veteran who has a total disability resulting from a service connected disability, as evaluated by the Department of VeteransAffairs;

       Any veteran who died while a disability, as indicated in paragraph (3) of this section, was in existence
